Poor me! I really like DOS, but I don't even know how to install MS-DOS 7.X!

Prepare a small hard disk, and burn MSDOS7x onto a disc.
Set the BIOS to boot from the CD - ROM drive (if you don't know how, you must make up for this kind of knowledge). Then power on and insert the disc. (If it's too late, press restart.) Then start the installation according to the steps. [ Last edited by doslike on 2010-5-21 at 17:41 ] |

Download the ISO version of the full installation CD of MS-DOS 7.10:

Burning a disc means writing an ISO file onto a CD...
Just fiddle around in a virtual machine, it won't get damaged... After inserting the disc, you first need to partition it (using fdisk), format it (with the format command), and then install it. If you know a little English, there won't be major problems... |

After formatting the hard disk, enter the CD-ROM (such as E:)...
Run setup and press Enter to start... |

I downloaded this:
MS-DOS 7.10 Complete Installation CD ISO version Then I extracted it. Then do I need to burn the DOS71CD.ISO (this is also compressed, I haven't extracted it) inside the extracted files to a CD to make an MS-DOS 7.10 installation CD (Asking for the last time) |
