Could everyone tell me how, under pure ms-dos7.10, to make the IF statement support multiple statements? For example if %condition%=6 statement 1 && statement 2…… Under pure DOS, it seems to treat the whole “statement 1 && statement 2……” as a single statement.

You can use 4DOS as the command interpreter

http://www.cn-dos.net/forum/viewthread.php?tid=15214#pid91455 Compared with the traditional COMMAND.COM, 4DOS really has changed a lot, but it does not change COMMAND.COM's original syntax and parameters. Rather, it extends them on that basis. You can also use it entirely according to your COMMAND.COM habits. BATCH files originally written under COMMAND.COM can run under 4DOS without any modification, but if you do that, then there is no difference between the two, and you cannot bring out 4DOS's advantages and features at all.
