When I used a Win98 boot disk to enter DOS and install the hard-disk version of DOS 6.22, the installer said it couldn't recognize the system (7.10), so I had to make a 6.22 boot disk. First I copied the 6.22 boot image file MSD622BD.IMG to the hard disk (2G), then I used a 7.10 boot disk to enter DOS and run HD, after that I chose Get fron file, then specified the path to MSD622BD.IMG. At that point HD said it was reading data, but I waited a long time and still didn't see any prompt saying the transfer had succeeded. Is it possible that I did something wrong?

HD's GET FROM FILE reads the image file into the buffer. After that you should insert a floppy disk, then use WRITE to write the buffered data to the floppy disk.

MS-DOS 7.10 supports FAT32 and large hard disks, but MS-DOS 6.22 cannot recognize them. If you just use 7.10, then there is no problem.
