I've heard all sorts of good things about DOS, but I don't understand why it is so easy to use.

DOS is stronger than the Windows series in some respects, but in many respects it can't compare with the Windows series.
But as DOS has kept developing, it has already solved many of the problems that used to limit DOS applications, such as large-capacity hard disks, multimedia, network browsing, and so on... |

The original WINDOWS 1.0-3.X and WINDOWS95 were all based on DOS. The fact that Microsoft has been able to develop to where it is today owes a lot to DOS.
