Updating several games with a batch file, but for some reason the self-extracting archive errors out? - China DOS Union Forum

Updates for the other games work fine; only the “Shuihu Q Zhuan” upgrade self-extracting archive has a problem.
When I run the batch file, after the upgrade self-extracting archive window opens, I choose the game directory and click “OK”, then it says “Failed to open the archive, please make sure it was only run once”, as if the batch file calling the program makes it count as having been run multiple times.
But if I don’t use the batch file and just double-click the upgrade self-extracting archive to extract it, there’s no problem.
What method or command can solve this problem?
