I have a floppy disk, in debug
l 100 0 0 1
after changing the content of 1 byte in sector 1, track 0, side 0 from EB to something else,
w 100 0 0 1
of course then the floppy disk could no longer be read.

Then I wrote back the backed-up boot content.
After w 100 0 0 1, who would have thought it still couldn't write, saying it couldn't find the floppy disk. It could only be used again after formatting.
I originally thought W could write sector contents arbitrarily, who knew there was a blind spot in my knowledge? Depressing.

Don't know much about debug... if you don't need the data... and just want to fix the floppy... use hd--copy
