Hello everyone, I'm a newbie and want to learn DOS! I'd like to ask all you experts, why can't the help command be used in XP's virtual DOS environment??
After rebooting into the DOS in the MAXDOS toolbox, entering the help command still doesn't work. Why is that? The prompt says: help is not an internal or external command, nor is it an application program or batch command!
What is the reason for this!!! I hope all you experts can give me some guidance.

help is not an internal DOS command. Please make sure there is help.bat or help.exe or help.com in a path DOS can find.

Taking MS-DOS 6.22 as an example, you need these three files: help.com, help.hlp, qbasic.exe.
MAXDOS should be based on MS-DOS 7.10. I don't know whether the files are complete, you'd better download a DOS 7.10 Wengier edition from the China DOS Union.
