Found a relatively complete one online, but it doesn't work???

Two methods:

1. Click Start, Run "gpedit.msc"
Open Group Policy
Click "User Configuration" - Administrative Templates - Windows Components - Windows Installer
Set "Prevent installation from media" to "Disabled",
Set "Always install with high privileges" to "Enabled"

I followed this, but the problem wasn't solved!!!

2. First, check if the current user has administrator privileges;

End the process Ikernel.exe and then install;

There is no such process in my system

If it doesn't work, delete all files in the system installation directory Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Engine and then install.

There is no such directory in my system???

Still not working, run "msiexec /unregserver", stop the Windows Installer service;

I followed this.

Then, install InstMsiW.exe (it's in the root directory of the Office XP installation disc, or you can download it from the internet
Extract it to the set directory with Winrar
Enter the directory, right-click on msi.inf, select "Install",
Right-click on mspatcha.inf, select Install;

Found an installer installation version and installed it.

Finally, run "msiexec /regserver" to enable the service.

I followed this,

But it still doesn't work, what should I do! Do I really have to reinstall the system? I can't use the green version of Office 2003 because I need to install "0A system", which is necessary for work.

How did you initially use Group Policy to restrict the installation of Office 2003?

Run the registry, regedit, find the following key value:

HKCR,"Installer\Products\4080110900063D11C8EF10054038389C"

Delete 4080110900063D11C8EF10054038389C,

It should be okay,

A bit simplified, sorry,

Full name
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products\4080110900063D11C8EF10054038389C

This is the product feature number of OFFICE2003

I am installing an OA system for a user, and I can be sure that this government leader doesn't understand what "group strategy" is. Of course, I have also learned from the side. Can you give a solution?

(注:原文中“组策率”应该是“组策略”的笔误,已按正确词汇翻译)

The method I mentioned above works. I specifically tried it again. So, I made it into a registry form, and you can just click to run it. Confirm, and it will be okay.

Then you can install the full version of Office.

It can be regarded as an identifier, indicating that Office 2003 is installed in the system.

The green version of Office 2003 generally does not provide the function of uninstallation, so we have to remove it manually.

There are still many registry information not deleted, but it does not affect you to reinstall the full version of Office again.
