Use the Telnet in “Internet Tools”, it's very good, and it displays Chinese very well too. Recommended!

Rogue Penguin: Lynx is a web browser under DOS, while Telnet is software under DOS specifically for viewing BBSes via Telnet. The latter really is quite good to use.
