My 98 is in the primary partition C, and XP (NTFS) is in the logical partition D. Right now I’ve activated the XP partition, and when I use PQ to check the partition info it shows “bootable”. So if I copy the 3 XP boot files from C plus boot.ini to D, then even if I format C, XP should still be able to boot. Is that understanding correct?

Expert, one more question: for a batch file, do I just need to add the full path of the program I want executed at startup directly into Autoexec? For example, to have it install 98 automatically, X:\setup c:\batch98.inf batch98 is under C, X is the CD-ROM drive letter
Thanks |
