I downloaded an operating system in ISO format. I don't want to extract it and then install it myself. How do I use a virtual CD-ROM drive under DOS? Please explain it in a bit more detail, experts.

What are you talking about? There really is virtual CD-ROM software under DOS..
For example:
SHSUCDHD /F:TEST.ISO
SHSUCDX /D:SHSU-CDH

The one in Drivers can't be downloaded, so I found a 1.4 version myself.
By the way, with shsucdhd /F:test.iso, where is the file test.iso supposed to be? Can a path be used here?
I tried it and it didn't seem to work.
And how is the drive letter of the virtual CD-ROM determined?
