I downloaded an operating system in ISO format. I don't want to extract it and then install it myself. How do I use a virtual CD-ROM drive under DOS? Please explain it in a bit more detail, experts.

After reading what you said, this is what I think: Wengier, I really admire your skills, but solving the problem like this seems like saying nothing at all! How do you use SHSUCDHD?????? Just assume there isn't one; after all, tools under DOS aren't very advanced.

You should be able to download it from the site's "Drivers" section.

The one in Drivers can't be downloaded, so I found a 1.4 version myself. By the way, with shsucdhd /F:test.iso, where is the file test.iso supposed to be? Can a path be used here? I tried it and it didn't seem to work. And how is the drive letter of the virtual CD-ROM determined? |
