Right now my computer hangs as soon as it boots. I have to type “win” and press Enter in pure DOS before it will start normally. I don't know where the problem is, so I wanted to ask whether it's possible to trace which specific program is causing the error. Can this method be used?

Just to clarify, it hangs when it gets to the “blue sky and white clouds” screen.......

How about this: when the LOGO appears, press the ESC key and take a look, then you'll know...

What appeared was “boot menu”, and below that was "first boot ....device", with the floppy drive, CD-ROM drive, and other devices. Is that of any use?
