If you use moderator Wengier's boot disk, you'll be able to read it......

For other software, I recommend PM8.0!

Using many third-party partitioning tools can also format NTFS partitions. PM8.0 indeed can format NTFS partitions, but if you use it to partition afterward, the speed is extremely slow. Which brother here can advise me on a tool that can format NTFS quickly and also partition fast?

Try DISKMAN! It's in Chinese too!

When installing 2000 or XP, after choosing the installation partition, there is an option: "Format using the NTF file system"
Just select it and that's fine |

That's too slow. You still have to wait forever.

Yeah, I feel the same. Even with DISKMAN, it still feels about as fast as when using WIN2K or XP. I'm not very capable, but I've heard about it and also seen others use DM to partition (though not in NTFS format). That's a very fast method, but because my English level is limited and I'm afraid of making mistakes, I still don't dare use it. I'd also like to learn how to use DM partitioning. Could some master give me detailed guidance? The current DM should be version 9.56, right? Thanks in advance!

You can go look; there are plenty of posts about DM in the forum.
Also, there is a DM9.56 bilingual universal edition, which automatically displays a Chinese interface under a Chinese-language environment. And the author also wrote a detailed Chinese tutorial; you can get this help with DM/??. Note, it's two question marks. |

spfdisk, I've used it too, but it's still not all that satisfactory. Using it to hide bad sectors is still possible, because it can even tell exactly which track and which cylinder is damaged. This is a very good bad-sector partitioning tool, and it's in Chinese too, so I also recommend this tool to friends who need it. In the end DM is still better. I really do want to learn how to use it, even though it may be a bit difficult.

Try Windows PE. You can use the /fs parameter. For example: format c: /fs:ntfs or format c: /fs:fat32, etc.
