How do I install winxp and win2003 under DOS? I don't have a CD, but I have it on drive F, what should I do? I'm a newbie, please explain in detail, thanks. I know win2000 is:
cd f:
cd win2000
cd i386
winnt

For winxp and win2003, what is the installer under I386?

dir *.exe
Find a few EXE files and see which one is the installer.
If you don't know, then try them one by one. You don't need to ask others about this, right?

If it's a WIN2000/XP/2003 bootable CD, you just need to boot from the CD-ROM drive and it will go straight into setup.
You can also enter the I386 folder on the CD under DOS and use the WINNT command to install it; these three systems are all installed the same way.
You can copy the I386 folder to the hard disk first and then install from there, which will be much better for your CD-ROM drive.

Drive-letter switching, for example, D: switches to drive D, E: switches to drive E; and then there's the CD command to change directories. DIR can be used or not.
It's best to first practice the basic DOS commands in a DOS window, and remember to use the EXIT command to return to WIN.

I'm using win2000, and recently I ran into a problem when installing winXP. Installing under DOS doesn't work, and booting from the CD doesn't work either. winXP just won't install. Urgent!

What's the use of being in a hurry?
Or rather, tell me, what's the use of you being in a hurry?
You don't even say what problem you ran into, you just say this doesn't work and that doesn't work, blocking off every path, so how can anyone find a way for you?
