Boot into DOS with a boot disk

Assume the CD is G

Run:
format/u/q(complete and quick) c: format
LH SMARTDRV 2048 load disk cache
%cdrom% means your CD-ROM drive letter
cd G:\I386\WINNT the directory where winXP is
winnt run setup

I did install it before, but it seemed that bundled boot disk wasn't very usable. Now I have another floppy disk, so I wanted to ask everyone.

Should %cdrom% be changed to %G% instead?

Hehe, I'm dumb! Please give me some guidance.
