Using software under DOS?
I downloaded ADSL Optimizer Master and an rm repair program; both run under DOS. Every time they just run automatically, and they’re all in English, so I want to understand what is actually going on. Especially the optimizer—does it optimize by itself as soon as the EXE file is launched? What exactly is its principle? I even found that after using it like this, my connection speed actually got slower! Does this software need to be used often???
The rm repair program briefly says how to use it under DOS, but it isn’t very detailed, and since I’m not familiar with DOS I’m afraid I’ll mess things up if I go into it, so I’m still using its companion software with one-click fixing. I wonder if anyone uses this kind of software? Could someone explain it?
