Question: how do I install Win2000 under DOS? I don't have the CD, but I have it on drive F. What should I do? I'm a newbie, please explain in detail. Thanks.

I installed Win2000, and basically there was no problem, but my hard drive went crazy, and it really hurts me to see it. Is there no problem? Please advise, masters. ～

It's very loud, and the hard drive light flashed for over an hour. My hard drive is E-Tech, 7200 RPM, and it's been used for more than a year. Is that its problem?

Did you load SMARTDRV? One of these days we ought to charge MS a hard drive wear fee, their stuff causes way too much hard drive wear.

Just run SMARTDRV。EXE before installing, that's enough. The difference in installation speed between loading it and not loading it is especially obvious, you'll know if you try it.
