I have a Seagate U6 with bad sectors. How do I scan it under DOS? What command should I use? Thanks!

Is there really such a command under DOS? If there is, I'd like to learn too.

The disk scanning command SCANDISK.EXE and the disk checking command CHKDSK.EXE can help you check and repair errors on the hard drive. For example: SCANDISK /ALL scans all hard drives; CHKDSK C: checks all tracks and sectors on drive C. Sometimes this command can complete disk checks that SCANDISK cannot.
