Hello everyone. My current job is a internet café manager. Although it's called a network administrator, heh, but I know relatively little about computer knowledge. Since I spend a lot of time online, I thought about learning some computer knowledge. Currently, I'm studying batch processing, VB, computer maintenance, and the registry. No matter how much I learn, I'm at a loss now and feel like I don't understand anything. Now I've discovered that DOS is present in everything I study, so I've made up my mind to learn DOS. After studying for a few days, I encountered a problem again,

What problem? I think a large part of this problem is... English.
Now, learning computer knowledge can't do without English, I deeply understand this. Everyone thinks that. Without English, you have to memorize things by rote, without English, you learn slowly, without English, you can't understand, without English, you're likely to make a fool of yourself (when others read and you write).

The purpose of me posting this thread is to consult where there are video tutorials on computer English, preferably at the beginner level. Friends who learn computer knowledge and don't know English, please vote.

I hope to meet a few experts. When I don't understand something, I can consult. Below are my QQ and email

A diligent and motivated newbie, I support you. There used to be 3G of English teaching videos in the computer, including professional English for computers. Oh, I didn't have time to finish watching them and then deleted them. I'll get them for you next time when I download again. But there are e-books of professional English for computers on the Internet, you can search...

You will naturally learn it by reading more materials

I mainly think that if you can pronounce it, you can write it. When you can pronounce it, you can also write it. The purpose of me looking for videos is mainly to understand computer English grammar. The brother above, I know that memorizing by rote from books and materials is okay, but learning should find a key.

Back when I was in school, the part I did best in every exam was reading comprehension, and the parts I did worst in were the following fill-in-the-blank and grammar multiple-choice questions.

When I read computer documents, I mostly look up words in the dictionary. I never care about grammar and don't dare to read words aloud because I often mispronounce them.

My requirement is low, just to understand. Computer-related documents are still very relevant. If you let a non-computer major translate, it will be a complete mess.

Yes, what you said is very right. It's too difficult for us beginners.

Yeah, I'm learning English now. But I started with spoken English. It should be helpful for understanding computer English to some extent. Although some people say, "Computer English is the graveyard of English." Hehe, we can communicate more in the future. My QQ is 313192133. I have English videos, including New Concept English and Crazy English, etc. If you want them, you can add me.

I think that after learning English well, many things in computer science are relatively easy to understand. A good English foundation is of great help for learning computers. I have passed CET-6. I think the best way to learn is to buy a paper word book and read it more. It's easy to be tempted by other things when reading on the computer, and I can't calm down to study well, and the effect is not very good, heh heh

Hehe, I'm back again. Actually, many friends suggest that to have a chance to enter a foreign company, one needs to learn English well. In a foreign company, technical skills don't need to be extremely outstanding, but it's not okay if you can't communicate with others.

I once met a foreigner, oh, it was really miserable. The two of us were making a racket with electronic dictionaries, haha, it was so funny.

To have better development, learning English is necessary. Everyone work hard!
