In the past, I once read an article saying that there is a command that can expand a 1.44MB floppy disk to 2MB. Is there such a command? How exactly to use it?

Generally speaking, the unformatted capacity of a floppy disk is about 2M. It is impossible to format it to 2M, and non-standard formatted floppy disks are not safe. You can use HD-COPY to expand it to 1.72M.

It can install files of 5~8MB under Windows. Implement it with the disk management tool 3 in Windows.

It is said that the largest and reliable floppy disk capacity is 1.68MB formatted by HD-COPY. Any larger will definitely not work, otherwise it is easy to be damaged.

The ghost said that software can't reach 80M. 80M is just a theoretical value. I once read an article in Computer News about this issue. It said that the theoretical value can reach 80M, but actually it's only about 5 - 6M, and this is still under win9x using disk compression tools. However, after high compression, if the property shows that your floppy disk capacity is 6M, you can't just install a 6M thing into it at once. It won't work. You can only install a little more than 1M at most each time and repeat the installation. Also, the capacity obtained after compressing each floppy disk is not the same. I don't know if you have noticed this.
