Mine is 630K (it's introduced in the "Using DOS" section), and there are a bit over 100K left in UMB.

I remembered wrong, because I'm online away from home and forgot.
It should be 649,XXX bytes, I forgot the last three digits. I'll check again when I get home. |

That depends on whether any drivers are loaded. Normally, aside from IO.SYS and MSDOS。SYS，COMMAND。COM, if there are also HIMEM。SYS and EMM386。EXE and DOS=HIGH，UMB, then that's another matter.

I can't do anything about that memory-hogging "SETVER", because I'm using DOS6.22, and a lot of the entries in the table are built into the system!!!

Second poster, yours is impossible, unless you don't load drivers like SETVER, OAKCDROM, MSCDEX, DOSKEY, DOSLFN, KILLER, etc.
