Hello everyone:
Yesterday I got an old computer, a Founder 586, Pentium II 166, 24M. The hard disk had been replaced. I want to reinstall 98 on this hard disk, but it always goes back to the installation directory after detecting Plug and Play devices. I don't know why. Could it be that a brand-name machine has this information fixed on the original hard disk, so it can't recognize a different hard disk? Please help me!!! |

It won't be fixed like that. How big is your hard disk? Some motherboards in old machines don't support large hard disks. You can try plugging it in a few more times
to avoid poor contact, and don't forget to format your hard disk!!!!! |
