There is a lot of useful material in my Win2000, but because of work needs, I need to use programs that run under pure DOS on the same machine. How can I install DOS without uninstalling 2000?

Is your disk format FAT16? If you want to use pure DOS, no way.

I did one machine before: installed 98 under 2000, then uninstalled 98, and what was left was DOS, but it's too troublesome. Thanks, Lin Song, I'll go check Computer News

A very easy way is: before installing Windows 2000, format drive C with Win98's format command, and then install Windows 2000. At startup there will be two options, one to enter 2000, and one to enter 98 DOS

I understand what you mean. I'm not that much of a newbie. What I mean is installing 98 without touching 2000. I saw the moderator's post and now I understand how to do it. Thanks, everyone!
