Yesterday I borrowed a CD from a classmate, and under Win2000 it couldn't be copied, reporting an MS-DOS error.
But the strange thing is that under Win98 and Win2003 it can be copied normally. Can any expert explain this? The Win2000 I'm using is the SP3 version, with Win2003 and Win2000 dual-booted. |

Is it a motherboard with a VIA chipset? I remember that the drivers for some VIA-chipset motherboards had problems, and errors would occur when copying files. But whether it was the Windows 2000 drivers that had problems while 98 and 2003 were fine, I haven't verified it. Just a guess.

It's a CD-ROM drive problem.

It probably isn't a CD-ROM drive problem. I tried it on two machines.
My motherboard is SiS735, not VIA. |

Then maybe it's a problem with the CD-ROM drive's driver.

But there's no problem copying other discs.
