Grub for dos cannot be used on NTFS partitions?

My hard drive has 2 NTFS and 2 Ext3 partitions. Now I just installed XP, and Linux cannot be entered. After installing Grub for dos, the menu cannot be seen. Is it because of the NTFS partition?

Windows has updated the MBR, and you can't find grldr. You can change boot.ini or install it on the MBR. It's not a NTFS issue.

Grub for DOS supports NTFS partitions. With just this information, I can't help you. For example, what does it prompt when it can't boot? menu.lst configuration? grldr version?
