The current system is XP Pro, and the file system is NTFS. If I want to reinstall XP from DOS, I don't know how to get into DOS. A boot floppy created in XP won't boot at all (maybe because of NTFS). Please tell me the exact steps.

That means you made your boot disk wrong..
Booting DOS from a floppy has nothing to do with your hard disk..

Doesn't the XP installation CD have a boot disk? Just use that.
