I have a DOS window software tool (it runs under WINDOWS). It works normally under 98, but under 2000 it shows garbled text. Looking for a solution; experts, please give me some advice.

Isn't there a kind of program that runs under MS-DOS?? My software is like that, and under 98 it's OK. But under 2000 it's garbled text!! Could it have something to do with the system kernel!!

win98 and win2000 use different character sets, so of course garbled text will appear...

Does it use the character set from WINDOWS even under MS-DOS??? I tried copying all the fonts from 98 into WIN2000, but it still can't solve the problem. Is there any good way to fix this??

A title like this fits the conditions for an “unqualified title” perfectly. Next time, please make your title clearly state your question!!!
You have a DOS window software tool, but there are lots of DOS window software tools. Who knows which one you're talking about?
When describing a problem, you should clearly state your operating system, software name, usage environment, the problem encountered, how often it happens, and what you've done or what you think about it (don't make others feel like you're the kind of person who pushes problems onto others the moment one comes up and only wants an answer). In short, you have to make it possible for others to reproduce the problem you encountered before they can help you.
Next time I see a title like this, if I'm in the mood and willing to moderate the forum, then one word: delete!
