My original operating system is 98. Now I want to install WINDOWS NT, but during the installation process I get the following message:
the unpatitioned area is not acknowledged by the computer, what is the reason for this? Is there any other way to install WINDOWS NT? For example, how can I install WINDOWS NT under DOS? Asking all the experts here, can you tell me the specific steps? Thanks! |

Your 98 is FAT32, it needs to be converted to FAT16 first. Also, if your hard disk is over 8G, during the NT installation process don't let it detect large-capacity storage devices.
