I have a piece of software that needs to run under a pure DOS system.
So I definitely need to install a DOS system, but I hope this DOS system won't take up the floppy drive letter (A:). Is there any version of DOS software that can be installed? Also, if I install DOS in a virtual machine, what DOS would I need to use? How do I install it? I hope the experts on this forum can give this little brother some advice. Many thanks in advance. |

Install DOS on a virtual machine. The MS-DOS 7.1 from this forum will do.
