So you mean not loading it in config。sys, and instead loading the USB device directly at the command line with device or addev, etc.?

I tried it too, but it didn't work. It seems it simply won't assign a drive letter at all. Has anyone managed to do it successfully?

Sigh, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. In some systems it can succeed, but in some other systems it just won't work..

But USBASPI.SYS and DI1000DD.SYS have a better chance of successfully getting a drive letter assigned when loaded with ADDEV.

I found that with your 7.1 it can detect my mobile hard disk and USB flash drive, but only one type at a time; it just can't use both at the same time. Have you noticed this problem?

Then which one was being used? A USB hard disk or a USB flash drive?
