I always feel that newly asked questions keep getting pushed down under that "The Wisdom of Asking Questions", which is pretty awkward. Also, whenever people open a forum section, they always look at the first post, and the first post is always that thing, so it feels like it hasn't been updated in years.

A question: what does that go32v2 in FreePascal refer to?
Also, both OS/2 and DOS can use the os/2&dos version. Why is that? Could it be that the same install.exe can run under both DOS and OS/2? Just how compatible are OS/2 and DOS, exactly?

Alright, I've already unstuck "The Wisdom of Asking Questions"!

GO32V2.EXE is a program that provides DPMI memory for protected-mode DOS programs.

OS/2 has a DOS virtual machine somewhat like the DOS window in WIN, so under the OS/2 platform it can also run most DOS programs!

Learn how to ask questions first.
Change your post title to something better.
In the future, a post with this kind of title may end up with only these three fates:
1。No one pays any attention to it. (This is the best-case scenario.)
2。It gets moved to the chatter section.
3。It gets deleted.
