Guys!! This ACER laptop has no floppy drive and no DOS installation CD (but it does have a burner)! How can I install DOS 6.22!

Download a DOS 6.22 boot disk from this forum Make it into a bootable img and burn it to a CD Boot into the system.. then run the sys command Transfer the system files to the partition where you want to install DOS 6.22, it has to be c: Then create a dos folder, copy the rest of your DOS 6.22 files Edit autoexec and config That should do it.. give it a try..

Many thanks for the expert advice— I somehow managed to make the boot disk... But I want to install a DOS and XP dual-boot system, so how should I use the FDISK command in the DOS 6.22 boot disk to deal with a 30G hard disk?

MS-DOS 6.22 has no way to deal with a 30G hard disk no matter what. I strongly recommend upgrading the system to MS-DOS 7.10, so it can support large hard disks, FAT32, long filenames, large memory, and so on.
