Suppose there is a file called sndvol32.ex_ on the CD in E:\SIMPCHIN\WIN2000\ADV_SRV\I386. The problem now is that I only know for sure there is an sndvol32.ex_ somewhere on CD E, but I don't know the exact path of sndvol32.ex_. Under DOS, how can I find out the exact path of sndvol32.ex_?
If I use path_snd to stand for E:\SIMPCHIN\WIN2000\ADV_SRV\I386, then I need to use the following command: expand path_snd\sndvol32.ex_ c:\windows\system32\sndvol32.exe It is worth noting that sndvol32.ex_ may exist in multiple paths. By the way, drive E is the Windows 2000 installation CD. |
