I’m using ME. I don’t know why, but I can never get my commands added to AUTOEXEC。BAT under C:. Every time I boot, it automatically reverts to the following:
SET COMSPEC=C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND.COM SET windir=C:\WINDOWS SET winbootdir=C:\WINDOWS SET PATH=C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND SET PROMPT=$p$g SET TEMP=C:\WINDOWS\TEMP SET TMP=C:\WINDOWS\TEMP  |

I remember that me no longer allowed modifying autoexec.bat and config.sys.
