First use attrib to remove their attributes. Then delete them...

Looks like there may be a problem on the hard disk. Try SCANDISK.

attrib +r +s +h *.* adds the read-only, system, and hidden attributes to files,
attrib -r -s -h *.* removes the read-only, system, and hidden attributes from files.
Or use deltree *.*; it can directly delete files with any attributes. XDEL or NC, PCTOOLS, etc. can also do it.
