I searched on Baidu and they all say the same thing. Even though the question is simple, I'd still like an expert to take two minutes to solve it. I want to know the copy command for a LAN under DOS. I already TELNETed into the lab machine. I used COPY F:/ABC.BAT //192.168.1.177/D:/ but it just won't copy over. Is my syntax wrong, or is it some kind of service issue? I want to confirm whether my command syntax is correct. Thanks for replying It always says the network path cannot be found [ Last edited by sgjm9318 on 2007-1-10 at 08:38 PM ]

The OP's fundamentals~~~ First, net use \\192.168.1.177\ipc$ password /u:administrator Then COPY F:/ABC.BAT \\192.168.1.177\D$\

copy f:\abc.bat \\192.168.0.1\d\ This format definitely has no problem. Pay attention to whether you yourself have write permission! In other words, whether remote D is fully shared!
