In 98 MS-DOS there is the choice command for making selections, so you can use choice to receive the user's response, but 2000 MS-DOS doesn't have this command anymore. I want to let the user make a selection and then do different FTP operations. What should I do? How can I receive the user's response? Under 2000, what command can replace the selection function of the choice command under 98?

Just take the CHOICE command from Win98 (MS-DOS 7.10) and use it under Win2K.

Wengier, how do I do that? What do you mean by "take it over"? Do you mean installing MS-DOS 7.10 under 2000?

Come on, just copy (duplicate, copy) that choice.exe from msdos7.10 to your win2000 and it'll work!!! (Copy it into the directory where your batch file is, or into a directory defined by your path)

There is a GET.COM on Wuyou's CD that can replace it.
