Although posts that haven't been browsed will have a mark in front of the title, the content of the reply must be opened to be viewed. If the reply has content that interests you, it's okay, but if the reply has no substantial content, just nonsense like "thanks" or "give it a thumbs up", it will invisibly waste your time and be really annoying. Can you open the reply content preview function so that when the mouse points to the title, the general content of the last reply can be displayed? In this way, you can skip posts you're not interested in and browse more conveniently.

Discuz! 2.5 indeed doesn't have this function, so it's not very realistic to directly "open" this function. If there's an opportunity, you can try upgrading to Discuz! 5.
