The copying speed of XCOPY for the same partition is indeed not as fast as cutting. I wonder if there is a function similar to the desktop cut in pure DOS. Thanks!

Yes, you can use the move command to achieve it! For the usage of the move command, please use move /? to view the help! It is not convenient to elaborate here

It seems that you can also use MOVE to rename.

Can the MOVE command move folders? Also, what's the difference between it and the REN command when it comes to renaming?
