When an MSdos system starts, it first reads IO、sys--then, in order, msdos、sys----config。sys--command、com--autoexec、bat。。。。。
Of course, at present most of the people in this section still can't boldly lay hands on core startup files like IO、sys the way webmaster wengier can。。。。Then let's gallop around and DIY freely in the config file instead。。
When a PC starts, the system will automatically look for the file config.sys. If it doesn't exist, the system runs in the default way, but in most cases that default way is not the most suitable for system use, so we should set up the system startup environment, such as setting the use of extended memory, loading the CD-ROM drive, USB drivers, etc.
When your system has errors such as the system not being usable, not enough memory for programs, device not found, sound card cannot be driven, unable to connect to the network, and so on, making reasonable changes to config.sys may solve more than half of the problems.
config.sys is a text file, and it can be edited, created, and modified with any text editor. (Just create a text file, write in the contents, then rename it to config、sys.) Of course, if you give the same contents some other name, like autoexec、sys or something。。。the system definitely won't recognize it。。Hehe。。。。If you add, change, or delete any configuration command in the config.sys file, that change will only take effect the next time DOS starts. Everyone should remember this. The config file is only loaded and executed when the system initializes。。。。
