Urgent situation, while I was using GHOST to restore the system (it was already halfway restored), I accidentally hit reset.. after that the computer started up automatically, but I can't get into DOS.. I can't even get into Safe Mode / I'm worrying whether I have to reinstall the system..! (In my heart I have 120 unwillingnesses to reinstall the system again..) Experts, can you point your little brother to a clear road. Waiting quietly for good news!!

You can boot the computer with a CD, USB drive, or floppy disk, then just use Ghost to restore it again.

Got it..`` If I use the reinstall system disc in the CD-ROM drive to boot the computer, do I need to press any key when booting.. or will it just boot directly!

My hard drive was divided into 6 partitions, and the first two partitions each had an XP system installed. Once I wanted to adjust the size of the first two partitions, so I booted with the XP installation CD and then deleted partitions C and D, then created a C partition and a D partition. I found that there was still a lot of space left in between that couldn't be allocated into those two partitions, so I rebooted into DOS and wanted to use Disk Genius V2.0 Beta 0229 to repartition. As a result, I saw that the hard drive had only one large unformatted partition left. Then using the XP CD again, I could only see one unpartitioned space, so I could only reformat the entire hard drive! Pitifully, the 30GB of software I had stored on partition F was all finished! Of course this has already passed, but now I want to ask the experts: after deleting partition C, if I exit without rebuilding partition C, then are the remaining partitions beyond recovery? Was there any remedy at the time?

To the poster above, if you run into this kind of situation next time, I strongly recommend diskman for repair. It's domestic software, a very powerful partition recovery tool.

Actually there are ways to handle these things; this involves the problem of data recovery. If you reset and reboot in the middle of deleting drive C or when GHOST has restored about halfway, then during this process the hard drive's MBR layer should have been damaged. If you backed up the MBR, you can just use diskgens to restore it. Both the OP's and afnspy's problems are problems with drive C. Actually, you can remove the hard drive and attach it to another machine; you should be able to see the contents of the other partitions, though sometimes you still can't. At that time you can use diskgen or KVFIX to manually repair drive C! You can also use 效率源 to forcibly restore the contents of the other partitions after drive C!
