I installed MSDOS 701, DRDOS 7.03, and FREEDOS in VMware Workstation virtual machine. I found the following problems: 1. The MSDOS CD version does not have FDISK.EXE and FORMAT.EXE started, so I must first use software to partition and format before installing. 2. DRDOS cannot be started after installation. I modified CONFIG.SYS to be able to start (replaced EMM386.EXE). 3. FREEDOS死机 halfway through installation, prompting insufficient memory. (My memory is 256M) Hope to get expert guidance!!!! Transfer various versions of DOS to the virtual disk using the SYS command. Do not use DOS for the operating system name; directly use Others and rename it yourself.

I'm also very at a loss because it seems the file system format of the hard disk is incorrect, so it can't be installed, but there's no format tool either!!!
