China DOS Union

This is the DOS Union Forum. The goal of the DOS Union is to promote DOS and develop DOS, thereby improving our people's level of computer use. It is not for establishing some kind of force to exclude and hate WINDOWS. After all, the reality is that more people use WINDOWS than use DOS, myself included. Besides, at the present stage, DOS beginners all start out from WINDOWS, so they have more chances to run into WINDOWS problems. Today's DOS and WINDOWS themselves are also mostly tied together.
I myself feel the forum might as well open a “various WINDOWS problems” section as a supplement, to help net friends solve some WINDOWS problems. After all, we who came from DOS are likewise no strangers to WINDOWS.
The DOS Union does not necessarily have to be pure DOS. When the water is too clear, there are no fish. As long as it helps our people improve their computer level, it can all be tried.

How about this: open an “Other Systems Exchange” section, including use and Q&A for operating environments and systems other than DOS, and so on. How about it?

I support appropriately opening some sections about other operating systems related to DOS.
Actually DOS has a close relationship with the commonly used Windows system; the two complement each other. Even systems with the NT kernel have kept many of DOS's excellent characteristics. Linux/Unix and so on have even more subtle similarities with DOS.
Actually setting up Q&A for other systems can attract more friends, letting more friends learn about new DOS developments here, become familiar with DOS, unite DOS, and develop DOS. This is exactly where our hope lies.

Just call the section “WINDOWS Problems”; that is easier to understand. Or “WINDOWS and Other Systems Problems” would also work.
