Of course, it won't work after decompression. The file after decompression is no longer the original disc image. However, you can make a bootable floppy disk, or download an img image of a bootable floppy disk, and then use ultraiso to load it into the iso file.

An image file containing CD - boot files, after decompression, the boot file is damaged. When burned into a CD again, the CD boot file cannot be burned into the boot sector of the CD, and it cannot become a bootable CD. This is because the original image file contains the boot sector record of the CD. But after decompression and then burning into a CD, the decompressed file cannot write this CD boot file into the boot sector of the CD. Therefore, it cannot become a bootable disk. So, the downloaded original image file cannot be decompressed; only the original image file can be directly burned into a bootable CD using burning software.
