Yesterday, the Dell OptiPlex GX620 computer ordered by the company arrived. When unpacking, it was found that there was no OEM WinXP pro disc. There was a plastic bag with a disc without a printed cover, on which were two rows of bold foreign words: "FreeDOS Operating System Install CD and Source Code". There was also a printed document in foreign words with the GPL agreement. I suddenly realized that the so-called low-cost business machine for installing DOS from Dell is just a FreeDOS disc included, but it wasn't actually installed. I'll find an old hard drive next week to install it and have a look. The version is beta8, with EMACS, VIM, SEAL. It's pitiful that other colleagues don't even know what FreeDOS is. M$ Windows is害人啊!
