Haven't seen this kind of error message. It is estimated that the FBDISK program is damaged, you can try using this one I uploaded:

Your operation is fine. Then it might be a memory configuration issue with the boot disk. You can try pressing the F4 key when this boot disk is booting to skip the execution of Config.sys and Autoexec.bat, and then run FBDISK. If it still doesn't work, try another boot disk.

I've tried both, but it still doesn't work! What would generally cause this kind of error?郁闷, you can't even solve it!

(注:“郁闷”保留原意,因为是口语化表达,在这种技术交流场景中保留即可)

My computer is running Windows 2000 Server system. When booting, it can still reach the welcome screen of Windows 2000, and then a blue screen appears. The following is displayed:

***STOP:0X0000007B (0XEB81B84C,0XC0000034,0X00000000,0X00000000)
INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE

If this is the first time you've seen this Stop error Screen,
restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow
these steps

Check for viruses on your computer.Remove any newly installed
hard drives or hard drive controllers.Check your hard drive
to make sure it is properly configured and termina ted.
Run CHKDSK /F to check for hard corruption, and then
restart your computer.

Rrfer to your Getting Started manual for more information on
troubleshooting Stop errors.

Still hope for a detailed introduction, thanks a lot...

This kind of prompt... Sometimes it's a hardware problem, sometimes it's caused by CPU overheating, sometimes it's because the P4 CPU has hyper-threading enabled... It's also possible that the system is broken, and reinstalling it will fix it...

First, use the official detection software to test the condition of the hard disk.

It is probably that the several most important sectors in front of the hard disk are damaged, which would be difficult to handle. Have you tried low-level formatting?

This must be that there are bad sectors on the hard drive. I don't know if they are physical or logical bad sectors, but it can be confirmed that it's not that important sectors are bad, otherwise the system wouldn't even start. You can download a tool to repair bad sectors online. If the hard drive is still under warranty, it's best to send it to the manufacturer. After all, there's not much way to deal with physical bad sectors, and don't low-level format the hard drive by yourself, as it will cause greater damage to the hard drive.

Thanks to the person above. The manufacturer only cares about making money. They told me to replace the hard drive and also want to buy my old one, which means this old drive must still be usable! But what you said isn't detailed enough, so I don't understand!

Bad sectors can be divided into physical bad sectors and logical bad sectors. Among them, logical bad sectors are relatively easier to solve. It refers to the hard disk being disturbed during writing, resulting in ECC errors. In terms of the process, when the hard disk writes data, it will use ECC logic to recombine the data. Generally, the operating system needs to write 512 bytes, but actually the hard disk writes dozens of extra bytes, and all these bytes need to be verified and encoded by ECC. If the ECC correction code calculated from the original bytes is different from the ECC calculated from the read bytes, such an ECC error will occur, which is the cause of physical bad sectors.

As for physical bad sectors, they are more fatal to the damage of the hard disk. There are also differences between soft and hard physical bad sectors. Physical damage on the disk surface is hard, which cannot be repaired. When data writing errors occur due to external influences, the system will also consider it as a physical bad sector, and this kind of physical bad sector can be repaired by using some hard disk tools (for example, the detection and repair software provided by the hard disk manufacturer). In addition, for minor surface damage of the hard disk, some hard disk tools (for example, Western Digital's Data Lifeguard Tools) can reorient to a good reserved sector to correct the error.

For logical bad sectors or soft physical bad sectors on the hard disk, users can try to use low-level formatting to achieve the role of shielding bad sectors. However, low-level formatting cannot repair hard physical bad sectors, and low-level formatting has a great damage to the hard disk. It is recommended that users do not perform low-level formatting by themselves unless it is absolutely necessary. Only when the hard disk is out of the warranty period can they try it.
