Fellow colleagues, my system is XP, but every time I use a floppy disk to make a bootable disk, I have to use someone else's 98 system, which is very troublesome. Does anyone have any pointers? Many thanks...

You can also create a bootable floppy disk under WinXP. Method: Insert the floppy disk into the floppy drive, open "Windows Explorer" or "My Computer", right-click on "3.5 Floppy Disk", select "Format", in the "Format" dialog box, check "Create a MS-DOS startup disk", click "Start" and it's done, and a bootable floppy disk is made. Although this floppy disk can boot the computer, it is Dos 8.0, and after successful boot, it cannot automatically load the CD-ROM driver. That is to say, if you don't manually add the CD-ROM driver, it cannot use the CD-ROM. Unlike the startup disk of Win98, which can use the CD-ROM after booting.

Why don't you just make a Win98 bootable disk?
