1. Today, I installed a DOS system in VMware. I read relevant materials on how to set and add shared folders in VMware, and added the shared folder. But I don't know what command to use in the DOS system to map the shared folder!
2. Mine is XP-SP2, with NTFS disk partition. And the DOS7.1 I installed can't read and write NTFS disks. How to solve this problem on VMware? Is the same method used on the real system?
I'm a novice just starting to learn. I hope the experts can give more pointers. Thanks in advance here!

Since VMware, which is a virtual machine, as a real computer first. Then, to share files and directories of another machine through DOS on an independent computer, the most convenient way is to first start the network under DOS, and then access the shared directory on the network through the network. For how to start the network under DOS, please refer to the previous old posts. The method for VMware is similar. As for the shared folder function of VMware, it can only be used after installing VMware Tools, and VMware Tools cannot be installed under DOS, so the shared folder function of VMware cannot be used under DOS.

Oh~ So that's how it is! Thanks a lot! This also solved one of my questions about the problem of not being able to install VMware Tools. Thanks again!
