Using a printer with a USB interface under DOS
Experts, give me an idea. I have an hp3748 inkjet printer, and right now I want to write assembly programs and print under VMWARE-WORKSTATION (virtual machine). What is the solution? The system currently installed is MSDOS7.1 standard |

Under pure DOS, USB printers cannot be supported directly unless you use USB4DOS. Unfortunately, this thing has to be bought (and it seems it is no longer sold now). Also, most USB printers do not support PCL emulation, so it is even harder to use them under pure DOS.
